Example map Dazed_n_Confused
ARTICLE DESCRIPTION:
-----------------------------
Just shows how one might wish to build a cave for a HL map. You're free to use it as a prefab if you want but I had intended it to be more of a learning aid.

Modified FGD for TFC Dazed_n_Confused
ARTICLE DESCRIPTION:
-----------------------------
This FGD adds two things:
1) All the guns in TFC may be added to a map just like the other entities.
NOTE: Most weapons won't actually show up in game, but if you walk on them you'll be able to pick up the gun. This means you need to add something to let the player know the gun is there. Only a few guns have

4team.rmf Dazed_n_Confused
ARTICLE DESCRIPTION:
-----------------------------
An un-compiled murderbal style map with a slight twist. You can grab the ball and hide to score points as usual, but if another team is way ahead you can take the ball to the capture point in thier base. This will reduce thier score.

If you plan to learn how to use entities from this, you should know this map uses a rather messy? way of getting the job done. Huge brushes are used to trigger things...many times 4 brushes overlap each other so that each team can trigger something differently. Probably not the best way, but it was easy to do and it works.

As always, feel free to pick up where I left off and finish the map or just use chunks of it.

xmas_ratz.rmf Dazed_n_Confused
ARTICLE DESCRIPTION:
-----------------------------
An un-compiled christmas-themed rats map. I'm not going to finish it because its an odd map, far too big and empty for most players to enjoy. Would make for a great sniper map though.

If you use anything from this map, be sure to note what was from other developers. I think I included some text files to explain what needs credited how, but I don't remember for sure.

This map may be usefull for learning how to use entities or if you scale the items down, you could probably use bits and pieces of it as prefabs with ease.

I don't think this map is really worth saving, but if you wished to finish it up, feel free to do so.

hns_beta02.rmf Dazed_n_Confused
ARTICLE DESCRIPTION:
-----------------------------
An un-compiled hide and seek map with 5 additional activities. I never finished it for various reasons.

If your new to HL mapping - or more spacificaly TFC, this could be a good way to learn about entities. If it overwhelms you, just look at it one room at atime and flowchart how things link togather...rarely does an entity affect something thats not in the same room/activity.

If you wish, feel free to finish the map or just use parts of it in your own maps.

Prefab pack Dazed_n_Confused
ARTICLE DESCRIPTION:
-----------------------------
These are prefabs I used to host on my site before closing it down. They are ones I made, so there are no restrictions on thier use. Some are more demonstrative - IE, show how to setup entities - others are more practical.

ctf-comandpoint.rmf Dazed_n_Confused
ARTICLE DESCRIPTION:
-----------------------------
Something I started work on several years ago and never finished. This map is really long, it fills almost the entire length of the grid in VHE. It was an attempt to combine CTF and command point gameplay in one map. Objectives change each time a team wins...unless that part was incompleat still. Its set in a desert location somewhat like dustbowl, except there are walls instead of mountains. I abandoned it primarily because it was too big to be any fun and had terrible FPS - though I think that was becasue of a leak I never was able to locate. Again, most usefull as prefabs or for learning.

VR-attack-defend.rmf Dazed_n_Confused
ARTICLE DESCRIPTION:
-----------------------------
Something I started work on many years ago and never finished. Will be most usefull for breaking into prefabs, but if you want to try and finish it feel free to do so.

This was inteded to be an attack-defend map with three teams.

Team 1:
Terrorists - Keep the buildings security systems offline long enough to unleash the biological weapon.

Team 2:
Security guards - Stop the terrorist from reaching the weapon.

Team 3:
Engineers - Enter the buildings security computers via the 'virtual-reality' stations. 'Hack' the system by compleating several obsticals and take control of the building's security system back from the terrorists.
